Have read Happy Potter my whole life. Started when I was in 5th grade with the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,which amazed me. The 5th grade little girl was dumbstruck by the language the spell everything by J.K Rowling. I was always the first one of those 60 kids in the class to order the book from those scholastic book listing,oh! those memories. Used to borrow games from the next door boy and played most of the time. Still I remember most of the spells (Avada Kedavra, Alohomora, Crucio, Diffindo, Egorgio, Expecto Patronum, Flipendo, Lumos, Wingardium Leviosa) and again who can forget Quidditch game, the unicorn blood, Basilisk fight, Dumbledore’s death. In school we had houses red,green,orange,yellow where I belonged to red house and always thought myself as Gryffindor and I’m sure not only me many thought same.As a child as a grown up always wanted to go to London to see that 9 3/4 platform which till now never happened,but still hoping one day. Oh, also I want that invisibility cloak ( I know I know the scenes of Harry walking in the dark library just floats in front of eyes),which is never going to happen
J.K.Rowling said in a press conference that Harry is done, it was devastating to me as well as to many of the people all around the world. But recently this book came out Harry Potter and the cursed child where I did expect a lot because of the title and the huge printed name of J.K Rowling. But it was such a shame to all the series, unfortunately did no justice to the series that was released over the years. Got this book 2weeks after the release,which excited me to the extreme. I was 10 when first started reading the Harry book and now Im 24 but the expectation never decreased a bit. I was so so disappointed. This book is a play and lastly has no connection with J.K Rowling’s writing. So we Harry Potter fan should consider the fact that when J.K Rowling said Harry is done it is done but will be in the hearts of millions of people forever. Harry the fantasy was, is and will be my heartthrob till end
